The Château d’Esclans is located in the heart of the Var, on an exceptional site in the valley of Esclans on the heights of La Motte . The original castle was built before the 12th century and rebuilt in the middle of the 19th century, inspired by the style of the Tuscan villas. Today, the property covers 267 hectares and operates 74 hectares of exceptional quality vineyards planted in AOP Côtes de Provence. Sacha Lichine took over the Château d’Esclans in 2006 and upset the world of wine by producing high-end rosé wines. With the support of his wine team who helped produce high quality rosés in Côtes-de-Provence, Sacha Lichine has managed to make this wine a luxury product, recognized worldwide.
