EasyJet Stalling Refund Requests for Cancelled Flights

It takes only one click to refund any online purchase yet EasyJet is playing dumb to keep the funds as long as possible to soften impact of COVID-19 at the customers’ expense. Instead of refunding cancelled funds right away EasyJet has an intricate system to drag the unfortunate customer through endless options aiming to keep your money in in the corporate pocket.

That’s what you get if you get through the maze of tricks and still insist on refunding:

Thank you for contacting us and for submitting a refund request.

We are working hard to process your request as quickly as possible. Due to the exceptionally high volumes currently being processed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will try our best to complete your request within 28 days following submission. Please do not contact us regarding a previous request unless it has been more than 90 days since you made your original submission.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

What the hell is “we will try our best to complete your request”? Why does it take 28 days with a hint that 90 days delay is also possible?
